Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is a American model, songwriter, singer and actress. Taylor Momsen is a singer-songwriter from America as well as model and actress from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is Jenny Humphrey in the CW show Gossip Girl. Momsen's music has been featured in television and film shows including How to Be Single Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, has older siblings Sloane Momsen. She studied dance at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. Her first professional role was a Shake 'n Bake commercial that aired nationally at age of three. Momsen's professional career was put on hold for three years, until she was cast in the lead role in Misconceptions. Momsen also starred in Saving Shiloh which was a film from 2006. Additionally, she auditioned for the role of lead for Hannah Montana. She was in the top 3 however, Miley was given the part.
